This is the song that started my on my journey of Jane Child fandom. I remember spotting the video for this on RAGE (ABC TV, Australia) late one Friday night in 1993. Upon seeing Jane, those floor length braids, hearing those Moog synth bass lines and her voice, I was smitten!

The song itself is a very funky pop affair and I can only wish that it was pushed harder by WB at the time. It was a big call to go with the song and the video itself, filmed in Paris, was a lush visual feat (Randee St Nicholas doing an awesome job on direction). It showed that Jane still had strong pop music chops but was far more willing to spread her wings musically, especially as the album was recorded at her home studio in North Hollywood.
