- Sean Booth explained some time ago that the reason this box set exist is to make the EPs available in a physical format without the need of repressing every EP on its own. Probably because that would too expensive for Warp (it was their idea after all). So yeah, this pretty much is for those who just want the music for an accessible price.
- I actually quite like the packaging. The original artworks are nice, but there's something to be said about the absolute and very Autechre-ish austere minimalism here. What I don't like is how the card board sleeves open to the inner fold; I hate prying CDs out that way. Still a great set, though; lovely on a shelf and much recommended over tracking down the individual EPs.
The music is essentially unimpeachable, as necessary as their albums. One can almost draw a line from Cavity Job to Gantz Graf in how the duo progressively developed and explored their sound; Untilted probably marks the true end of this era before leaving to more jam-session oriented material with Quaristice onward. - I kind of hate this set. The content is amazing but the packaging is really poor in terms of design and utility which is rare for designers republic. The porous cheap cardboard is a dust magnet, the individual cd slips are ugly in terms of colour and cheaply made, and the track titles are embossed on them making them difficult to read. I also hate how the eps spill over onto other cds in some cases instead of being presented individually.
- Edited 2 years agoEssential and indispensable - the most recommended tool to immerse yourself in the era of Autechre's prime and a nice one to protect your vinyls.
- Should have put things on here for the completists. The extra different version from Envane, the other mixes of bass cadet and so on. Would might have been worth buying then.

Untitled - 10min
Does this secret/hidden track exist ? Can't seem to find it!... It's not on the original EP. - What’s remastered about it? I compared the original Anti EP to this, and it sounds much louder and more full in the original CD.
- Cool box, but there are couple problems:
- no original artwork (additional booklet with album covers, liner notes etc would be helpful)
- EP7 divided on two discs
- Untitled track I can't even play on my CD player :(
By the way it would be great idea to have another compilation with all non-album, rare, japanese edition only tracks. - I was considering getting this to replace all the individual disks I have and clear up some shelf space. But I can't get over the fact that they split EP7 over two disks. It is one of my favorite Autechre EPs. I always considered it to be more like an album, both regarding length and consistency. It deserves it's own disk.
