Reviews
- I actually own this record. It was a minor hit at the clubs in its time. Unfortunately I have no way of listening to it nowadays. Would like to hear the "A-side" ;-) It may not be great music but somewhat haunting...disturbing... I mean, history repeats itself. The russians destroyed another passenger aircraft over Ukraine. No one seems to care these days. 100's of europeans (mostly from Netherlands) killed by Vlad Putin. Is that not something? I really don't understand this world...
- Judging by its cover and song title, I think this release refers to the incident happened in September 1st, 1983, when Soviet jet fighters intercepted a Korean Airlines passenger flight in Russian airspace and shooted the plane down, killing 269 passengers and crewmembers.
- Nice relaxed electrosound from the Belgium(?) Daddy Cool, continious speech (can't call it rap) throughout the song and besides that a very smooth "Change/Peter Jaques Band" chorus. As already mentioned on the cover: Disco-Funk-Speech/RAP; all in 1 song and you'll find a very pleasant and tasty song. Don't exactly know why, but I like it!
