Got this yesterday. This pressing is outstanding! Not one issue that some have experienced. Its clean, heavy on bass, full sound, and absolutely NO pops, clicks or skips.
This is another one of those times someone that is experiencing an issue should clean the record with a record brush or, maybe revisit what they are using to play records.

This is a nice bright loud bouncy record and its a good job as the choice of gold vinyl might have been a poor one, it looks nice and sort of swirly like shampoo sometimes does, but inbetween tracks and in quiet places you definitely notice the background rumbling and crunching away, sort of like somebody using a stuff brush on a concrete floor whilst eating a bowl of cornflakes . I got mine really cheap so maybe its been noticed by the more discerning listeners.

Dropping in to say my copy is flat, pretty quiet and has good dynamics. Good pressing, shame that some aren't getting a good product

Edit: quite a bit of noise in the right channel on side D

Ok, I will tell the extended versions of the songs, here we go:

"Rendez-Vu" has a extended intro and the outro doesn't have a fading out.
"Yo-Yo" doesn't start with the vocals, but starts with a extended intro.
"Jump n' Shout" doesn't start with the white noise, simply starts with the beat.
"Red Alert" has a extended intro and alternative outro.
            "Jazzalude" has a extended outro"
"Same Old Show" has a extended intro, as well as a extended version.
"Bingo Bango" has a extended intro and outro.

            That's all.

I love the super-extended version of “same old show” on here! It was always my favorite track on this stellar album✨

Mine sounds good. Not noisy at all.

I agree, it should have been a Gatefold.

No issues with my copy - the marbled gold looks beautiful, dead flat, no warps, and with no surface noise through my system.
Happy with the sound and overall package, and although a gatefold would have topped off the package, the music spread over 2 discs gives it space to breathe.

Almost a lesson in how to create noisy vinyl. If your going to put albums of digital music on an inherently analogue medium then at least make the medium of noise floor low enough to render there being a point to it because digital music is made for CD where it will always thrive (of not botch mastered). Here, almost every sin is committed. Serious groove roar and whoosh? Check. Tics and clicks? Check. Some pops? Check. Rustling noises? Check. I didnt even get through side 1 for being unable to ignore the sheer noise floor of this admittedly otherwise nice looking golden vinyl compound. That the sound quality is dry and flat doesnt help either.

Sorry but at the risk of insulting someone....THE CD IS MUCH BETTER.

Can anyone confirm this is the original LP and does not an alternate remix LP like the Rooty release?

I was thinking about what happened to Speed Garage, the hyped genre of 1997, and this is a result, one of the most popular releases of 1999. So UK Garage is viable, more than just hype.
