The A side epitomises my love of downtempo with a futuristic twist. A perfect balance of ambience and mood with a fabulous drum pattern. Class of '94.

A note of interest : both videos for River of Bass (at time of posting) are recorded @ 33rpm but should be played @ 45rpm. 😉

This record is produced in space, I am convinced of that. Inspired by other worlds, by the big unknown, by the magnitude of the "surreality" out there.

"Electric Blue" is spacey and extremely trippy. It's a beatless depiction of an ice cavern, inhabited by some kind of ethereal souls. Or perhaps it's the sounds of different spheres crashing in the electric blue sky doted with moons.

"River Of Bass" is enigmatic and catchy. Great downtempo stuff. A perfect balance of wobbly sounds and great beatdrums which seem to go on at different levels, but harmomically together.
