Super interesting soundtrack from a CINERAMA flicks long ago...This was a roadshow film (shown in one location for a long time with ticket seating)...The film process for the film was utilized with three projectors showing a massive screen filled with content...The film was literally a travelogue of the South Pacific and the accompanying music for each location...Alex North was the composer...Later years "How The West Was Won" and "2001 A Space Odyssey" were done in the same film format...As to the VINYL, Audio fidelity was the creator of the first STEREO LP put on the market and they really went in for precise audio perfection...Plus they served up some very wide stereo separation...Interesting album to have on your shelf for so many reasons...so let's hit the South Seas...
