This is one of the greatest records of the early 80's. A true gem and one of the most unfairly underrated masterpieces of its era. Each song is absolutely valuable on its own. Catchy songs.

First of all, I would not call this hard rock, unless you consider Journey and REO Speedwagon hard rock. But it is quite listenable and has some catchy songs. Should not have started the album with one of the worst songs though. Worth a listen

Possibly one of the last great straight rock power-pop albums issued in the US. It just keeps on giving. Hooks and harmonies galore, prominent bass lines, good lyrics. Recommended to any power-pop fan.
