Some of the finest French electronic albums ever made in this era, along with "Discovery" from Daft Punk and "Electrocaïne" from Pills. They were labeled as the French "Prodigy", and rightly so, and were part of the "fusion" trend like other bands such as Mass Hysteria or No One is Innocent.
Like big beat, "fusion" is a 'catch-all' term describing a melting-pot of the then most popular musical genres
They formed in a little city in Western France called Saumur, known for its castle and not too far from the Atlantic ocean.

Mixing elements of punk rock, rap, breakbeat and techno, their LP "Mouvements" was nominated in the "Best dance album" category of the 1998 "Victoires de la Musique" which is the French equivalent of the Grammy/Brit Awards.

"Tenez Votre Police En Laisse" ("hold your police on a leash" in English) has a hell of an industrial intro which will leave you speechless. And close to that comes "Ololo Ouma", a 8-minute long techno masterpiece.
The whole original CD breathes party, rebellion and a huge desire of stirring up mayhem. Most of their tunes adress political issues and especially immigration, as the last track's title "Mouvements Pour L'Immigration" can evoke.
I really like how skilled and diverse the 303's sound throughout the album, especially in the less-than-average aggressive "Tout Le Monde Suce". On the contrary, "+ Vit Ke La Musik" proposes some solid drum and bass if you're looking for a faster pace.

On top of that, this specific version adds a second CD featuring remixes of "Plein Pouvoir A Ton Corps" and "Le Savoir". I'm personally not disappointed with any of the 5 tunes included.
Pigforce made two remixes featuring their heavy breakbeat style as heard in their tunes, particularly "9INE MM" and "Doin' Jobz 4 Tha Mob".
The "Jupiter Energy" mix brings some house in the house, the "Where's My Money" production is a trippy moment with mellow rolling beats and the "Knowledge" has a sort of lounge-ish industrial vibe that is as trippy as the previous song.

Most of the French people who had the chance to see them live will tell you the same thing : too good !
