At last a good band in 2024, a shame this album is so brickwalled.- Edited one year agoFantastic music but sadly with crappy sound. I don’t know what they did to make it so bad sounding, most Rival Sons vinyl releases from the past are very dynamic and clear sounding but not this one. Such a shame. 😔
The latest album from Rival Sons, ‘Darkfighter,’ shows a clear shift in musical approach compared to their earlier works. Where the band was once known for its raw energy and unfiltered rock ‘n’ roll, ‘Darkfighter’ feels less dynamic and more compressed. Particularly in the vinyl version, the album suffers from a lack of sound quality, which impacts the overall listening experience. While the band presents some interesting musical ideas, the album falls short of expectations and doesn’t reach the heights of their earlier releases.
Edited one year agoNo problems with this stamped version here. People has missed this and they are selling stamped - version under the etched version by mistake. This was added later- I bet over 70% of these sellers items are the stamped version of this vinyl. I have no any problems with the pressing or sound with the stamped version.
- Does anyone else has a very noisy pressing? For me this sound pretty good and has decent dynamics and I really love the music. Just have constant snack, crackle and pop with my copy. Not sure if clean up would help. But this is one of the noisiest pressings for a while. Maybe some other color than clear would be better, has anyone compared them?
The one that sounds the best has the "AC" etched in the deadwax. 5 Stars!!!- Edited one year agoIs this limited? So where in The Hack are The standard version («limited» is now been a joke after Taylor Swift, ABBA, some hip-hop artists etc startet to put limited on their vinyl records pressed in 10000000 units. (Maybe RS and other artists is sick and tired of this limited shit).

If buy from Record Shop X : you get a A2 poster in the sealed cover. 
Not going to comment on the songs but I think the LP packaging is terrible, cheap flimsy card and not even poly lined inner sleeve. Try harder Atlantic records, Earache record releases were better packaged and cheaper.
