Steven Wilson – Insurgentes

I just received a copy of this one and it is a disaster. I’m going to try an exchange.

UPDATE: The original seller didn’t have a copy to do an exchange, so I waited a bit and picked up a new copy locally. This one is aces. Very clean and flat. I’m very happy with it.

I have this one as Ukrainian edition from Moon records: "For sale in Ukraine only".

Gotta agree, this is my favorite as well. Good songs from start to finish. Beautifully recorded. My copy, like pretty much every Wilson album I own has surface noise on most sides.

This has some Great prog-rock compositions with more Dynamic Range than you can shake a stick at.
If you`re more akin to like Steve Wilson`s PT material you`ll love this LP as it`s not million miles away from
from his PT days,excellent guitar work throughout with progressive percussion and heavy basslines.

My copy is perfect on BOTH discs no warps,no surface noise and edginess,you can`t go far wrong with this LP even if you`ve not heard the Great Man`s work before as long as you`re a fan of pro-rock rock etc. you`ll be grand with this in your arsenal.

His first and desapointed album !
His voice is too shy.
Long and boring songs except Only Child.
Poor take of sound and stereo.
Pressing is ok.

Limited to 2000 must be wrong…if not a bunch of people have listed their Kscope reissue here.

Shameful pressing quality on this one. Nearly constant crackle throughout Side B and plenty of it on the other three sides as well. Relatively flat though, so I guess there's that. Pretty unlistenable overall. Transmission/Kscope and Optimal should provide easy refunds or returns on this junk.

The records actually sound very good but do beware of the warping on this pressing

Dismal production quality. I tried 2 copies, both were badly warped. Avoid this pressing.

Watch out buyers, many sellers are listing the 2020 reissue passing it for a 1st press...ask for a picture of the catalog # on the spine (KSCOPE808) to make sure you'll get the original 2009 pressing (see my pic detail of the cat # on spine in the discogs images)
