Edited one month agoGreat sounding issue. This one is so much detailed compared to digital flac, hands down, didn't expect that at all, as digital release sounds great in the first place. All those electronic effects are as just from another dimension.
Just SO GOOD! Phenomenal packaging and artwork. Vinyl is heavy and incredibly dynamic. High end quality from SW with four bonus tracks for the cherry on top.- Edited one year agoI never got the chance to listen to the original press. But the sound of this remastered just really good, like any other Kscope vinyls, so dont miss this.

Is this the same issue as the version selling on amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Insurgentes-Ogv-Vinyl-Steven-Wilson/dp/B003AND1L4/- There is a vinyl reissue of this album with the 2016 remaster that has not been added to this list (not sure how to add new stuff) - just something to be aware of if you think you're buying the limited 1st edition. Also many people seem to prefer the 2016 remaster over the original which is another think to bear in mind.

What difference with the reference Steven Wilson - Insurgentes ? All is similar !
Very nice album before the "Jazz-Season" had begun. Multichannel I haven´t tested yet but I expect best sound like ever.
Still my favorite solo album by Steven Wilson, this LP is a must-have simply for the ridiculously excellent 'Mexico' variation of Insurgentes. The other vinyl-only tracks are great as well.
