The Beatles – 20 Golden Hits (Original Recordings)

Naturally, this is cut a bit low due to the length of the sides but I am surprised how nice this sounds - pretty clear and clean and a decent amount of bass too. The only stereo fakery is right at the beginning of the album (probably to be expected) and it does include Hey Jude in full which is not always a given!

A rather nice comp that shouldn't cost too much and I think, a slightly more interesting track listing than 20 Greatest Hits (UK version) that came along three years later.

The original Red (1966-1966) and Blue (1967-1970) doubles of course give you much more but this is truly a Fab listen for an hour or thearabouts - pun fully intended there lol.

Very high quality pressing, very quiet mass and excellent sound quality.
My rating for the publication is 8 stars out of ten.
Perhaps this publication lacks a beautiful booklet, but in the last century there were simpler standards for making vinyl publications.

The sleeve is pretty basic, on the back there is the tracklist with credits, copyright, and issue year. Of course, the material is top notch, and the sound quality becomes good around track A7 (Something).
