Melancholy and traditional song writing are the key words for the English band Buffseeds. In 2003 the Group made its debut on Dutch venues during the Rotterdam metropolis Festival, after which a short tour along some small Dutch venues followed. For this debut the band could count on the assistance of productional forces as Ian Caple (JJ72, Tindersticks), Michael Brauer (Coldplay) and Chris Sheldon (Foo Fighters). Eye-catcher is the singer/songwriter Kieran Scraggs, whose vocals meets all the characteristics of the typical modern English pop singer: shamelessly weepy and in themselves. In the best case that delivers attractive gems as the first single Sparkle Me on. At other times (Barricade) threatens the gasp in the voice of a maniertje Scraggs too much. The Picture Show is not inevitable therefore debut but leave enough hear twenty-four Carat pop to a pleasant surprise.
