Girlschool – Demolition

Anyone have a comment or review on how this version sounds?

There's nothing deluxe about this release.

I liked the idea of using the cover art from one of the singles of the era as an alternative to the hideous original cover, but this was so poorly put together that it makes me miss the old one. They clearly used the 500x508 cover found on the emergency single discogs page (1710558) and enlarged it in the worse possible way, leaving a blurry mess with most of the jpeg compression intact.

Interior of gatefold has a really bad looking layout with pixelated pictures of the band and pictures from the three singles covers (again, from discogs). It looks terrible. Back cover seems to be a blurry scan of an older release.

Everything about this makes it look like a very bad bootleg.

The weighty vinyl sounded okay from what I heard (and I like the tracklist, Bomber makes more sense here than on Hit'n Run), but if they sourced the art from discogs, who tells me they didn't just take the songs off youtube? Not keeping this one.
