- Nice under the radar release from The Spirit. I keep returning to Science Fusion... serious beats, drum vibes laced with cosmic style strings & chords combined with a rolling B line. There is a break towards the end... remember people slapping the walls, hands in the air in Turnmills (London club) one night. Good stuff.
Open Spaces is a more chilled jazzy piece... funky beats & a nice roller. Similar to a few releases on Creative Source around the same time.
Should be in your collection! - Science Fusion has the funk in spades.
Considering the praise that gets heaped on Bukem's Horizons, I think he should have spent more time on his breaks in Horizons and ended up with something like this.. Much more involvement for the listener.
