Love this LP, I have the original CD from 1993, no rot problems to date. It's recently come to life on my re-jigged hi-fi and sounds amazing!

Someone said soft and pleasant crackle....I don’t know if I would call it that. It’s still very listenable, however the constant crackle can be annoying. Luckily there aren’t any loud pops that make it even worse. I have the black wax version as well. This one is really for completists like me.

About a year ago, I discovered Seefeel and became a fan of them. While checking out other artists similar to Seefeel, I discovered Autechre. I listened through the whole album, "Incunabula". And you know what? I liked every song on it the first time I listened to it. Electronic music with glitchy and ambient sounds. It's definitely not party music like Fatboy Slim. But it's interesting work. My favorite songs are "Basscadet", "Maetl" and "444". A+

Do not buy this pressing! It is susceptible to disc rot, as are the many other flawed pressings done by PDO in this time period. My copy already exhibits signs of disc rot.

I can remember buying this album from Cob Records and listening to it whilst on the way back to Sheffield. What I thought then I still feel today: it is a classic album. With this release Warp Records set the new standard for electronic music of that era - and god bless them for that (because rave music was just bloody awful).

Weird that there are so many comments about the pressing of this. I just received my copy of it (yes, yes, years late but I have the original silver vinyl which sounds terrible and always did), and frankly, it’s whisper quiet on all sides and sounds fantastic. This is how a classic record should be pressed and sound.

Ahhh pure bliss. This repress sounds very good. Hoping Warp will do more Autechre reissues in the future. Got Tri, Amber & this, they all are top pressings. Amazing how fresh Autechre's early music still is. Amazing stuff.
