Great sounding LP! Very dynamic and dead silent pressing. The music is also great. One of the best SV albums ever.

Finally bought it now at high but acceptable price. I am happy that I completed herewith my SV collection.
This record is very good sounding but (mine) not free of a bit surface noise.
Aufiophiles should consider this record if they like Suzanne.

This pressing really is as good as it gets. It is rich and warm, the bass has punch, the sound stage is massive and the clarity and channel separation superb.

If Analogue Productions could produce this with their UHQR series they would never go out of business.

I’ve never listened to Suzanne Vega before but the music is smooth, easy listening and the woman has things of substance to sing about.

Best pressing of anything. Buy it just to hear good sound.

This is one recording I first purchased as an MP3 download, then sought out the CD, and when I had a TT, purchased the 200 gram LP. It is, IMHO, one of the best releases of the 2000's. The songwriting is top notch with hooks throughout, great lyrics, bridges that both provide transitions and create and enhance moods. While some reviewers have complained that Tchad Blake's mixing tends towards compression and excessive loudness, I am amazed by the engineering. Graham Hawthorne's drum tracks, recorded at Seer Sound in NYC, are among the best I've heard on any recording, both from a performance standpoint, and the placement in the mix. This album should really be heard as vinyl where the full vibrancy of the project comes forward.

A seriously underrated classic, perhaps the best in Suzanne Vega's career. I consider it a minor tragedy that this album did not sell well and led to her being released from Blue Note. It deserves to be discovered and heard.
