Edited 12 years agoEarly Detroit House from the mind of Terrence Parker. Expect his usual chunky beats and basslines combined with heavy vocal sampling. It's a solid EP full of fun tracks. I gave it five stars, but a good portion of that is due to the nostalgia factor (because I experienced my early adulthood in the first part of the '90s here in Detroit).
Having said that, please don't overpay for this record. One UK-based dude is trying to charge $153 USD for his used copy (plus $21 USD for shipping!). ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH IT! This is, on a good day and in immaculate condition, a $10 record. You can still come across this in used bins here in the Detroit area for a few dollars ($3-$5) for a good copy. It makes me sad to see people trying to blatantly rip other people off by charging such extraordinarily excessive amounts for music. This ISN'T a rare record! Don't reward greedy sellers!
By the way, I'm the one who added this silver labeled version to Discogs, and you can see on my photo of the A-side where the price sticker was placed (the bubbled area) - I paid $2 for a copy that looked as if it was never played... not even any of the light radial sweeping paper marks from pulling it out and putting it back in it's sleeve. In other words, it was a solid 'near mint'. Keep that in mind when trying to judge value.

Awesome 4 track EP of Disco sampling grooves. The tempo is quite fast on this but it's a really cool EP. Produced by Terence Parker. Say no more. Fantasic ;-)
