Blur – The Ballad Of Darren

Sounds good, but my “orange” is red… anyone else’s the same?

Okay, I bought it on release and got this blue pressing. Funnily enough just over a year later i don’t remember any of the songs from it. Just like The Magic Whip in 2015 nothing jumped out at me. I’ve been into Blur since 1995 and these albums seem to have glided over me. The new live album is pretty good though. Very lively and energetic. Nice trawl though the back catalog and great guitar work by Graham Coxon.

el disco esta buenisimo, no lo habia escuchado. El vinilo me vino impecable,muy limpio,sin fritura.El arte esta excelente, respetando todos los detalles de las ediciones de afuera.Lo único a detallar es que mientras más se acerca a las últimas canciones de cada lado distorsiona un poco la voz de Damon, pero sinceramente no molesta porque es blur, es Damon, tranquilamente podría ser un efecto jajaj Lo importante es que sale 20 dolares en un kiosco de diarios. Aguante la musica!

Beautiful color, great press with no audible surface noise, great album too! My copy came with both the promo poster and keychain that independent record stores gave out with copies when the album dropped :)

I bought straight from Blur website...After one year from the release it's still available for 37£.
Scalpers go sleep and find a serious job ;)

I love this record and just recently upgraded my standard black vinyl version to the deluxe version! Great pressing, nice extras, deluxe gatefold packaging and two great additional songs on vinyl AND CD! Achingly beautiful and sadly under promoted in North America! Five stars of five!

My FAVOURITE Blur record! Which might tell you I’m not exactly a super fan but I really love the songwriting and production here and find this album totally addictive.

Mostly stopping by to say this LP is mastered quite well and has a more realistic analog sound when compared to streaming Tidal and the vinyl itself is totally quiet and this is without bothering to clean it. Big rich sounds. Enjoy!

Wet cleaned it before I played it (like every new record) and sounds great! Very happy with this purchase!
