"Disintegration" reached #3 in the UK and #12 in the US. The album produced four hit singles:
"Lullaby"
"Lovesong" (Listed in some versions as "Love Song")
"Fascination Street" (released as a Single in North America only)
"Pictures of You"
Due to the extended running time of the album, "Last Dance" and "Homesick" were not included on the original vinyl issue of the album, and CD and cassette issues would label the songs as "bonus tracks"; this denotation was removed for all reissues and remasters.
Reissued in 2010 with a bonus cd of rare tracks & "Entreat plus"

Sounds great, and for $22 at Best Buy can't complain about a bit of distortion at the end of Fascination St.
It has never been a wonderfully mastered album in the first place (and the type of music doesn't help with it) but this 2xLP pressing gives a little bit more room to the music (vs an OG).
Despite being pressed at GZ, it's an OK press (flat, centered, OK jacket and the usual light scratches but they have no incidence on the music).
Also, i'm happy to report my copy has almost no surface-noise!
Completely satisfied with my 2020 reissue. Made In France sticker on rear cover. Very full and lush sound throughout. Flat pressing with zero surface noise. No pre-cleaning needed on my copy. Nice reproduction of the artwork on a sturdy gatefold cover. Includes card stock printed inner sleeves. Can’t go wrong with this one.

An amazing pressing, I looked a lot for the best pressings for this record, and read this is one of the best and indeed it’s amazing.
This pressing is not nearly as bad as some people say here. Sure, in some parts it's a tad muddy, and if you want the full tracklist go for the remaster, but I still think this one is dynamic and full of life. Get one in good condition though because you have to crank this one up and wear becomes more audible.

Disintegration is easily one of the best The Cure albums! My favorite track on Disintegration is Lullaby and it might even be my favorite song by The Cure.- How did they fit 73 minutes on one vinyl disc?

Where the credits read: "This music has been mixed to be played loud So turn it up" it is no joke. But it's great to hear "Fascination Street" close the side without IGD and the instruments come through just a bit better during the busier arrangements, especially the staccato, stabbing synth during the second half of the title cut. I have found that this album actually sounds best on The Cure - Disintegration
