Notes
"Mutiny On The Bay" is a live record by the Dead Kennedys first issued in 2001.
The album is not one consecutive concert, but rather tracks taken from various performances in 1982 and 1986.
"Police Truck", "Holiday in Cambodia", "Forward to Death", "I Am the Owl" and "Riot" were recorded at the Elite Club, San Francisco, on March 20, 1982.
"Hellnation", "California Über Alles", "Too Drunk to Fuck" and "This Could Be Anywhere" were recorded at The Stone, San Francisco, on February 16, 1986. "Moon Over Marin", "M.T.V. - Get off the Air" and "Goons of Hazard" were also recorded at The Stone on February 17, 1986.
"Kill the Poor" was recorded on February 21, 1986, at Freeborn Hall in Davis, California. The show is notable in that it was the final performance of the Dead Kennedys.

Absolutely fantastic live album from the Dead Kennedys that was my introduction to them as a whole. This was actually the first version of California Uber Alles I had heard and was annoyed by the other (more outdated) version about Gerry Brown instead of Reagan until finding it on Plastic Surgery Disasters as "We've Got Bigger Problems Now".
I'm aware that there is some distaste about the lawsuit that occurred prior to this album's release and Jello Biafra's commentary that he does not feel it was recorded well, but I still really enjoy this album. Some of the little spoken word bits are really awesome, sometimes Jello trips over his words and recovers (e.g. on California Uber Alles he says "A photo oprity-AH! A photo opportunity of the president as he Pre-(swallows air loudly and forces out the next syllable as hard as possible)-TENDsss to mourn), sometimes the mic gets blown out, sometimes the guitars or bass just have insane noise and distortion (not as an effect, as poor recording), but honestly it's a punk record. When I hear these mistakes and recoveries in their playing, it is massively impressive and I really think that this entire thing is super underrated.
If you are a DK fan, listen up to Too Drunk to Fuck at least, these are some really good live versions of these songs akin to the difference between a Cheap Trick studio album and one of their live albums.
Highlights:
Kill The Poor (This is by far my favourite thing the Dead Kennedys recorded, I love this version of this song)
Holiday in Cambodia (the section where Jello is yelling Pol! Pot! POLPOTPOLPOTPOLPOT is absolutely frenetic, it's mental)
California Uber Alles (Great Intro! Great Reveal! SUCH A GOOD SPOKEN WORD SECTION IN THE MIDDLE! The band just creates this really menacing atmosphere from the perspective of their archvillain)
MTV Get Off the Air (Hysterical intro, I constantly quote it or sing along to it. Also some crowd reaction to see how psyched they were.)
Too Drunk to Fuck (Again, Jello's intro is just really enjoyable and the song is absolute chaos, they sound like they are playing inside a running blender)
