Live album consisting of tracks from Disintegration recorded live at the Wembley Arena (London) on July 22, 23 & 24 1989.
Recording details:
* July 22nd : Last Dance, Fascination Street, Prayers For Rain, Disintegration (beginning only)
* July 23th : Closedown, Disintegration (main part)
* July 24th : Pictures Of You, Homesick, Untitled
First release was a promo pink card sleeve offered in 1989 at french FNAC stores.
In May 1990, yellow artwork promo cds & promo cassettes were given away in UK, exclusively at HMV stores.
At the end of the same year, it was commercially released with blue artwork.
Some tracks were used as B-sides on these singles:
Lullaby (US versions only) : Homesick and Untitled.
Pictures Of You : Last Dance, Fascination Street, Prayers For Rain and Disintegration
Four tracks are missing to have a full interpretation of the Disintegration album at these shows. This gap was filled in 2010 on the Disintegration deluxe reissue, featuring these tracks and the original ones on the Entreat Plus third CD.
This remastered 12 tracks Entreat Plus was later released on 2LP.

One of the best sounding albums in my collection. Clearly Robert Smith knew what he was doing. And to think this is a live album— pretty crazy. I absolutely love it!!!

Great sound for a live performance , actually feel so spatious, one of my favourite Cure issue. That band makes me cry every-time. ❤️🙏- I think it sounds amazing, no issues with warping, etc. Never heard the original. If you ever wanted to hear what the Cure sounded like playing their biggest album live just after it came out, here's your chance.

be careful with this pressing , my copy has clearly signs of bronzing on front surface.
I held out on buying this for awhile because of the negative reviews. While the observations are valid, upon first listen, I'm finding it's not that terrible. Also, keep in mind these were REMIXED by Robert Smith in 2009 which was during the height of the loudness war, so when compared to the "best" produced albums that year, I imagine it sounded great. It would have been cute if somewhere in the liner notes it read: "THIS MUSIC HAS BEEN MIXED TO SOUND LOUD SO THAT IT CAN COMPETE WITH LADY GAGA, U2 AND GREEN DAY ON YOUR IPHONE."- Has anyone else who owns this promo variant in the card sleeve experienced disc rot from their CD? I paid $50 for this CD when it was not yet commercially available, and mine ended up with disc rot years later. Such a freaking bummer.

I have a version with black cover and only an old printed A4 insert stating promotional use only. 150 copies in total. Does anyone have a similar one? Does sound good though 
Yep original pressing sounds so much better, more open maybe.....
