This will always be one of those quintessential albums to me. I listened to this so much in the early 90's while in High School. Its one of my all time favorites and on vinyl it just sounds so much better. Rest in Peace Van and Mark. You guys fucking ROCKED IT!referencing Anthology: SST Years (2×LP, Compilation) SST 260
Killer material. Criminally under the radar for some weird reason. Love all of it. 10/10referencing Anthology: SST Years (2×LP, Compilation) SST 260

I remember seeing sealed new copies of this in stores in the last couple years. There must have been a recent vinyl repress from SST?referencing Anthology: SST Years (2×LP, Compilation) SST 260
I love the Trees’ SST output. This is a great sampler of their career during the 80s. Interesting to hear Lanegan’s take on the SST years. Recently finished reading his memoir, and he mentions multiple times throughout the book, that he hated, and still hates every single record they recorded under SST. He didn’t write or really have much say, if any, with the lyrics from this time. According to Mark, he wasn’t able to wrestle creative control away from Gary Lee until the Sweet Oblivion record. Kind of a bummer to hear Mark’s true thoughts on these early records, because I really like most of their SST output.referencing Anthology: SST Years (2×LP, Compilation) SST 260
One my favorite releases of all time, if you like Nirvana's Bleach, you'll like this. If you don't like this right away, the Trees have a way of growing into you. This is the only album I have on all three formats, Vinyl being the last format I acquired. I'd like to say it sounds better on wax than the CD, perhaps here and there it does or its only in my head. :0)referencing Anthology: SST Years (2×LP, Compilation) SST 260
