SST good old punks! They reprinted the record with the same matrix for more than 25 years. So You scalpers could fuck off. Now that Mark is gone, they come out of the grave. Who cares? Hi just bought a copy at the local record store. Stoked to have it, love the Screaming Trees and Mark Lanegan. This album didn’t come with an insert or an OIS did it? Mine had no insert and a generic white sleeve
Edited 3 years agoI think most if not all SST colored vinyl dates to early 90s when they reissued practically their whole catalog on colored vinyl to sell at the SST Superstore on Sunset. Not really deserving of being lumped into that Grunge category when they have so much going on that’s akin to all those nNuggets era bands, in the coolest way. I’m listening to this right now for 1st time and the first two tracks on side two just dripping with garage psych goodness.

One of my favorite albums ever. Bought on a whim brand new when I walked into Trade A Tape Records on the hill, Boulder, CO. Loved SST and liked the look of the band and song titles. Was blown away by all the psych elements, more than anything else in the SST catalog at that time, with a strong 13th Floor Elevator vibe. Best of late-'80s proto-grunge.
