- Love locked grooves? Is Metal Machine Music your all-time favorite album? If so you're in luck. Otherwise, this is just a collector's item. Not really practical for listening even if you like the drones. I'm a big SY fan, have all the SYR releases on vinyl and I think this would make good music to blast a cult out of it's compound.
- I used to have this album on CD, but I bought it on vinyl about 15 years later (as it was really 'so good' in my memory). This vinyl version anyway is not really enjoyable. The sound itself is excellent - but the fact that the tracks are very short, and each track has a locked groove in the end, makes the whole listening time very challenging. It's a fun idea to make a record like that, but practically very frustrating to use. So... I'll probably find the CD version again, so I can lie down on coach and listen the whole thing without the need to jump up & down. Musically probably Lee's best album :)
- It says "Sav X" is a playable etching, but that's bs. Don't try to play this, just stare at the cool ouroboros etching and don't ruin your stylus.
- "Fuck The Future" etched into run off on side A
"Electricity Comes From Other Planets" etched into the run off on side B along with design from album jacket.
Locked groove at the end of each track.
