- Yes a fine outing by the Everly Brothers , pick up for a very reasonable price sealed of course you would have to like the Everly Brothers
The Everly Brothers closed out the 60's with one of their finest albums, a cohesive set of tunes reflecting on their earliest years while also looking forward. Excellent covers of songs by Randy Newman and Merle Haggard anchor the record. This pressing sounds a bit muffled at times, particularly in the high end. My copy has some light surface noise at times.
Gotta say, pretty poor sounding compared to the modern master on Tidal

A wonderful, enjoyable country-psych-rock (w/ feedback, wha-wha, jangle guitar, etc) concept album - melds old themes w/ new treatments & a rougher (in a good way) version of their familiar close harmonies.
Totally incredible.
Re bersheik below: Certainly relaesed in the same year as the original - maybe a reprint to bolster stock after initial pressing run.- This is a great record and a great pressing. Pressed by QRP and mastered from the analog tapes by The mastering lab. If you like country rock, add this to your collection!
