Eydie Gorme* & The Trio Los Panchos* – More Amor

Eydie Gorme y los Panchos “Cuatro Vidas”, Cd este editado por Discos CBS en el año 1987, pero que inicialmente fue editado en Lp en el año 1965 y que en algunos países se conoció por “More Amor” o más amor, y no Cuatro vidas.
Recordemos que un año anterior a este, en 1964 Eydie Gorme ya había grabado con Los Panchos el álbum “Eydie Gormé canta en español con Los Panchos”.
Curiosamente la Sony Music lo incluyo en su famoso listado “Los 100 discos que debes de tener antes del fin del mundo”.
Mencionemos que Edith Gormezano “Eydie Gorme”, era nacida en Nueva York y murió en las Vegas, y tiene una Estrella del Paseo de la Fama de Hollywood.

This is a thrift store score if ever there was one! The music on this disc is so nice, a total sleeper if you are into Spanish Language music, and not what one would expect from an Eydie Gorme record. Trios Los Panchos are one of the great Mexican guitar groups and their playing and vocals are great as well. This pressing in particular, a red label "two eye" Columbia pressing, sounds amazing. I pulled this from a dusty Goodwill bin, and there is NO surface noise, incredibly quiet and dynamic stereo sound. I see these a lot and almost want to just buy them up and hand them out to friends.

Album says it was released in 1987, but I see it was voted this was actually released three years later. How come?

There is also a version of this from Uruguaya, with cat. nr. 8557

I have a "360 Sound" Stereo version of this with Cat. # CS 9176, it says the mono version is CL 2376. Is this a reissue? or could there possibly have been a mistake in entering the cat. #?
