For their debut, Terranova calmly ask you to CLOSE THE DOOR. Otherwise, the paranoid hip-hop of "X-Files" might come knocking or the deep bass of "Sugarhill" might ring your bell. But when Cath Coffey appears for the spare, moody "Turn Around" and Tricky picks up the baton on "Bombing Bastards." Vocalist Coco offers her services to the drones and beats of "Never," the moody dub of "Plastic Stress," and the twang of "Just Enough." But Cath Coffey once takes the spotlight with her sultry "Sweet Bitter Love." The title track shuffles around, taking its sweet time, contrasting the chaotic instrumental melange of "Millennium Bug." "Midnight Melodic" appears twice, once with Rasco taking the helm, and, better yet, Cath Coffey bringing a real sense of heartbreak to "Chase the Blues." A sublime way to end the album.
