Gorguts – Obscura

I wasn't happy with the quality of the record's sleeve. I thought it felt cheap and didn't bend nicely at the edges.

A dizzyingly delicious repress of this timeless masterpiece. This is a seriously top-shelf release.

It doesn't sound right. I'm not sure what else to say other than a warning to anyone who wants to buy this as more than a novelty. You will not enjoy the poor quality of the audio; and that's not a criticism on cassette tapes. This is the only cassette I have bought where I've noticed a significant difference in the sound quality between analog and digital. Buyers beware!

Sound is really nice! Very good pressing allows all instruments to be heard clearly and not get muddy. Very nice!

What is the deal with the Black discs? Are these PS1 games? Is there any benefit to these? Or is this simply a gimmick to sell a new reissue?

Absolutely stunning pressing of this mind-numbing masterpiece in dissonant euphoria made audible. One of the most crisp, yet crushing albums and the crystalline production is done great service on this version.

Great album, very good pressing, no backround noise, pops or crackles, recommendation. If you don´t have it, go get this reissue.

Is that a shrinkwrap sticker on the front cover or is it directly printed? Because it looks like the latter.

This album is perfection.
I'm confused. Read an article recently that this album and from wisdom are being reissued. In the article Luc states that will be putting the new logo on obscura but my obscura has the new logo on it....?

Wow! What a reissue! Spectacular! Sounds so tight and dense and huge. I also own From Wisdom to Hate and Cryptopsy's None So Vile. War on Music's reissues (so far) have been of top quality! Well done!
