Gorguts – Obscura

Has anyone been able to get a reply regarding this + FWTH? I noticed the label (Tentacles) has been putting some copies for sale thru Discogs but can't be bothered to reply to emails..

Not sure if anyone has this album, as Tentacles Industries has delayed for more than 2 years to deliver these. Total scam.

Scammers. Numerous emails have been sent for status updates on Gorguts - Obscura. No response. I'm outside of the PayPal refund dates and out of my money.

I wasn't happy with the quality of the record's sleeve. I thought it felt cheap and didn't bend nicely at the edges.

A dizzyingly delicious repress of this timeless masterpiece. This is a seriously top-shelf release.

It doesn't sound right. I'm not sure what else to say other than a warning to anyone who wants to buy this as more than a novelty. You will not enjoy the poor quality of the audio; and that's not a criticism on cassette tapes. This is the only cassette I have bought where I've noticed a significant difference in the sound quality between analog and digital. Buyers beware!

Sound is really nice! Very good pressing allows all instruments to be heard clearly and not get muddy. Very nice!

What is the deal with the Black discs? Are these PS1 games? Is there any benefit to these? Or is this simply a gimmick to sell a new reissue?

Absolutely stunning pressing of this mind-numbing masterpiece in dissonant euphoria made audible. One of the most crisp, yet crushing albums and the crystalline production is done great service on this version.

Great album, very good pressing, no backround noise, pops or crackles, recommendation. If you don´t have it, go get this reissue.
