Saint Etienne – Good Humor

Here to confirm that the album sounds spectacular, rich in detail with really good dynamic range and very little noise.

Great quality pressing without any of the noise or skips described by other reviewers. Just gave it a quick wet brush and it plays perfectly.

As always expected with heavyweight vinyl, there is a fair amount of the usual annoying customary clicks, pops and crackling during playback. Disappointed to see that this always happens with 180g vinyl (wonder why?), because the 2017 'faithful' reissue of this on the standard 140gm black vinyl was far superior to this one - quiet and hardly any clicking or pops at all. I suppose when you have a format that is effectively coloured vinyl or picture disc you are going to have to accept that the playback and SQ will be compromised somewhat. I think the same thing happens on the blue splatter 180gm vinyl of 'Fairfax High' which I also purchased a few weeks prior to this one.

I have never purchased a brand-new LP that skipped as much on its first-ever play as this one. Absolutely appalling quality. Shameful.

This is a beautiful release under all aspects; sound is amazingly rich and deep.

the press on this is fantastic the bass is pumpin.

Rather disappointing sound on the CD - from audience reaction - you should have been there!

Both discs have excellent sound which serves to highlight the great production, musicianship, and songwriting.
