- First the good.
Andy plays in almost all the tracks. So this album feels Duran Duran pre Notorious days.
It’s good.
Tracks are fresh despite a few covers. Love Voodoo sounds great.
Smog LP is gorgeous.
The not so good.
The LP is warped.
Mastering so so.
Could use better separation.
Honestly. I think the streaming is better.
8/10. - The 5.1 surround mix folds down to any excellent 24/48 stereo mix that sounds so much better than the actual 24/96 mix.
- Control quality of these BMG releases is pretty bad, glue on the wrong places, same happened with last year digipack.

Is the above 5 format information correct? I have only 3 options to choose from. SDE confirms this. Unless it's the downmixes??

Hi-Res Stereo Mix (96/24)- Oujia board centerfold is beautiful. Wasn't sure what to expect as is a new album by an old band. It's a good album of covers and remakes. Needed to give a little wipe before play but sounded great after. I'll have to take a second spin for sure.

Anyone have issues with cd? I have now purchased two copies and both are screwed up.
Edited 10 months agoThe splatter on mine is more purple than red. I was hoping to see this kind of "blood" effect. Am I the only one disappointed about this "red" splatter colour?
