Reviews
- Record sound clear, there's noise on the runin and runout grooves but it's not noticeable duringplay due to the already lo-fi recording of the tracks. no noticable skipping. Comes in a fitting cardboard inner sleeve and the record itself is in a outer sealable plastic sleeve.
- Edited 18 years agoOnce again BMSR defy expectations. This is the definition of a perfect artistic matchup. For me it tends to sound heavy on the BMSR side of things compared to the Octopus Project, but it doesn't really matter who does what when the results are this magical. Heavy, dirty, sun soaked synths crash into waves of drums, splashing into a wonderful stroll through technicolor rainbow fields, all the while a broken Atari is flickering in the background...this is my best description of this record. A perfect mixture of experimentation, pop sensiblity, and summer time fun. I'd be very suprised if anyone put out a more fantastical album this year.
