Blind bought this bad-boy after I saw Hardfloor and ERP on the cover, didn't expect such a quality record. Seriously spot-on, acid-flecked electro with heaps of attitude. Its been slinking into more and more sets of mine.- When electro is done right you can find some quite brilliant records and nobody does electro quite like E.R.P aka Gerard Hanson aka Convextion. “4th Dimensions of the 5th Ward” see’s Hanson take Hardfloor’s orignal and turn it into a bubbling sea of synths that are ready to take you over board at any given moment. I particularly like the space like noises that come in around the 2:30 min mark but soon give way for the bubbling bass line and a barrage of cosmic whooshes and whirs that take you on to the next level of your mystical journey.
