- Avoid this one, along with all Earache "Full Dynamic Range" digipaks. Buy a physical copy of a cd with no booklet in an age that people listen to music on stream feels like a scam.

This album is so good, it's unreal.... It's quality is only surpassed by Vektor's 3rd album 'Terminal Redux'. TR is simply the best metal album ever released, and this comes from somebody who's strictly old skool and thought he'd heard it all....- Edited one year ago

This album is an absolute masterpiece. This is a rare case in our days when the debut elevates the band to the highest echelon.
Black Future is a very concentrated release, on the one hand, almost seventy minutes of time turn into an incessant demonstration of performance skills on musical instruments, but on the other hand, with all the technicality of the music, it is completely harmonious and inspired. This album is a large and holistic work, the creation of which has spent years of painstaking work. The tracks are versatile, intricate in the compositional part, sometimes truly epic. With all the timing, various finds are constantly found, these are melodics, arrangements, composer's features.
After listening to this recording, there is a kind of "aftertaste" and a feeling of satisfaction. It feels like you've read an interesting scientific book or watched a fantastic blockbuster. There is something to think about.
The edition from Earache is quite well done, both vinyls sound quite good and dynamic (DR 11). Yes, the sound is a little quiet, you can hear that there is some compression, but the sound from analog media is still able to impress and please. First of all, because of the music itself. From the first track, the music is so fascinating that there is no desire to look for any flaws in the sound.
Aesthetically and musically high-quality release. 10/10. referencing Black Future (2×LP, Album, Reissue) 5551-1
Astounding album I strongly suggest everybody give this album a full listen- SUPERB Thrash LP. But sound on vinyl seems compressed. Wonder if it was mastered separately for vinyl...

"Conceived by front man and guitarist David DiSanto, a spark of energy gave rise to Vektor in late 2004. With the addition of lead shredder Erik Nelson, the band began playing shows around the local Phoenix area in 2005. Implementing technical, speed thrash, and progressive influences, Vektor quickly found their own unique sound, setting them apart from the rest of the Phoenix metal scene. The band soon made a name for themselves throughout the southwestern United States playing local shows and opening for national acts such as Testament, Sigh, Sonata Arctica, Hirax, Finntroll, Dark Tranquility, Firewind, Iced Earth, Unexpect and Municipal Waste.
Vektor released a self-financed CD entitled “Demolition” in early 2006, generating a massive response throughout the metal underground and earning the band a growing contingent of die-hard fans. In 2007 the band followed up with the two-track “Hunger for Violence” demo to even greater fanfare, putting the band on the radar of many international fans for the first time. In search of the perfect rhythm section to complete their vision, Vektor’s line-up continued to evolve throughout 2008, before finding drummer Blake Anderson and bassist Frank Chin, finally cementing the ideal line-up to realize their goal of galactic conquest."- "Conceived by front man and guitarist David DiSanto, a spark of energy gave rise to Vektor in late 2004.
