referencing Barefoot E.P. (12", EP, 45 RPM) NEG67T
It's the Fila Brazillia mix for me. Props to Richard Sen for playing it on his Friday Do!!You!!! showreferencing Barefoot E.P. (12", EP, 45 RPM) NEG67T
The Carl Craig remix of hooter still sounds good in 2017referencing Barefoot E.P. (CD, EP) NEG67CD
BAREFOOT puts Ultramarine through the remix blender again, similar to their NIGHTFALL IN SWEETLEAF EP. But here, Drummie Zeb adds a dub rhythm to "Happy Land," while Carl Craig rubs "Hooter" with his Detroit techno magic, stretching out a sample of its horn section to become almost a jazz lament. Richard Kirk makes a reappearance, under his own name this time, for a more abstract mix of "The Badger," which retains the vocal bits and puts them in a more percussive setting. Fila Brazillia turn "Urf" dancefloor-friendly, keeping its acid line and horns, but adding in a 4/4 kick drum. A good collection, if not as transformational as the earlier EP.
