Notes
New Order's second single, released 25 September 1981 as double A side.
The original UK covers are made of grey paperboard and come printed in nine different colours, apparently after the band's and management's favourite colours.
For the US, stickers were added to the UK records.
The Portuguese, French and Spanish covers also use grey paperboard but with blue graphics only.
The Italian cover was printed black and white on paper while the New Zealand cover has paper with a dark blue/light blue colouring.
Australia had imported UK covers and pressings in various colours only.
Designed by Peter Saville (2), inspired by a graphic of a generator by Fortunato Depero from 1927. The songs were again produced by Martin Hannett.
Peaked at #38 in the UK singles charts.
This release is related to a Factory USA 12" (Factus 8), and to a Factory Benelux 12" (FBN 8).

- Does anyone have a spare or empty sleeve for one of the 1981 FAC.53 issues? The sleeve for mine was lost years ago. Will happily pay. Thanks
- I have jukebox version ( centre less) red pic sleeve from when my mother worked for jukebox company..... Relieved her of it before it went out!!!!!
- I have a mispressed version with no cover unfortunately. The label says "Everything's Gone Green" on both sides. Any know where this came from?
- "Procession" is another radio-friendly track which kept New Order ticking over nicely and racked up another mid-table hit in the UK charts. But it's the flipside which provides the most interest. Though they had started using electronics while recording as Joy Division, this track has a harder, more heavily-processed sound, in retrospect an obvious precursor to their most famous hit "Blue Monday". Sadly "Everything's Gone Green" fades out early on this single; however the full-length version is readily found, on NO's "Substance" compilation among other places.
