A truly gorgeous album. It's not as immediately accessible as some of KC's other albums and Jon Hopkins' electronic contributions (as important as they are), are largely in the background - often giving the songs a dreamy ambient mood. John Taylor's Month Away and Running On Fumes are heart wrenchingly beautiful. It took a while for me to appreciate the brilliance of this album as I was initially underwhelmed; but I now consider it to be one of KC's finest releases.

Well, it's commonplace to say that everything is unique, but this album actually is. It's a journey, for the ones who likes to think the idea of an album to be like this. And it's a touching one. "Bubble" probably is one of my all time favorite tracks. It literally transports you to a different place, as Hopkins usually does. I listened to this album while reading Murakami's "Sputnik Sweetheart." The ending of both, synchronized, was so appropriate and blended so well. Gold.

My favorite album from last year, and now with a bunch of extra songs. This is a profoundly subtle work of epic grandeur.
