I wonder if this is a Limited pressing or not. Times are tight lol but this is a great album

Killer album! Great pressing, good inherent volume. This might be the first release I own where the splatter vinyl matches the music (remember, you can get on Bandcamp)

This album is so awesome from start to finish. Been super impatient for its release then even more impatient to get my physical copy. Both were worth the wait though

I added this version, why did it replace the cd version? they are two separate versions, I even created my own release copying the CD release. Why discogs?

Listen... you already know if you are going to like this or not. If you dig Key's recent productions, such as the 'Resonance' album, and you like the more recent FLA records such as 'Echogenetic'... then this should be a welcome addition to your collection. If you are expecting it to sound like Puppy or Front Line circa the 80's or 90's... I mean, you should know by now that those days are long behind us. To think anything else would be fooling yourself. That said, is this groundbreaking? No, but not all art needs to be. Some things can just be pleasing or comfortable, and that "feel good" is the goal itself. That's what this is... more of what you like if you like this sort of thing. And you know what? Good enough for me.

Instrumentally, really great well produced industrial electronic sounds from 3 masters of the genre. However, the vocals and generic lyrics are a huge distraction. Probably Bill’s worst “rhyme-scheme” lyrics and the overly pitch-corrected modern top 40 sheen added to the vocals makes them sound artificial and boring. I’m not expecting this to sound like the “old days” but even as a modern release it makes perfect sense to expect more from a crew of this caliber and pedigree. Still, it’s great to see Bill and Cevin working together again in the studio. If nothing else, this new Cyberaktif album is an indication of their enduring friendship which is awesome.

For people who are more interested in listening to 60 yo repeating themselves, ruminating their old sounds rather than listening to new and far more creative and innovative bands.

In this sense, the ”new” Cyberaktif in the collection about serves like an indication of an owner that has not kept up with the development of the scene, and probably doesn’t care much about it.

To refer to this Cyberaktif as yesterday’s news is not to say that it’s all bad. Just uninspired and rather tired. A couple of songs are even OK’ish; ”A single trace” and ”Broken through time”. But these two half-decent tracks don’t justify the hype awarded this release based on past performances. I feel guilty about even awarding them this much attention and should probably stop writing mid-s…
