A great way to get these classic LPs for a reasonable price.
I gleaned that the Are You Experienced? here may be the mono mix. Can anyone confirm?- Both Lps sound fantastic and the only way to hear the Axis LP as it was meant to be heard ie the original and superior stereo master?
Man this sounds way better than the first US Reprise pressings of these records I had. And this is a reissue from 1973! Just shows you how much Reprise butchered the sound on Hendrix's albums in the states.- Jimi Hendrix.

You get what you come for. This x2 LP compilation truly shows the talent Hendrix had in a time of transformation for the psychedelia age.
Are You Experienced will always be my favourite Hendrix record. Every track you here sounds like Jesus trying to turn a guitar into wine.
Obviously, Axis ain't so bad either, but it doesn't have songs like Fire, Red House or May This Be Love.
There's really nothing else to say.
