I have an official RIAA award to commemorate the sales of 3 million copies of this album. If you're interested, contact me. Pictures upon request.- I just got this pressing and I must say it sounds really good, plenty of dynamic range, bright highs and punchy lows. I'm very happy with it

This is the third versions I've had of this. Of the 3 I rank them like this: 1. OG CD. 2. This release. 3. 2001 LP. The 2001 has more bass but is also louder and more muddy. It doesn't sound terrible. This one sounds a lot cleaner and more dymanic, but less bass and you have to really crank it up to get those dynamics going. The OG CD is the best of both worlds. Original CD I own: https://www.discogs.com/release/835276-Dr-Dre-The-Chronic.
Have not heard an OPG vinyl. A store by me had one on the wall for $300 in nice shape but I had to pass. Maybe one day. - Is there a difference at all between this release, and this one? The same images were even used for the two entries. https://www.discogs.com/release/23047340-Dr-Dre-The-Chronic

The worst reissue i've had to listen to in my lifetime, and Jesus knows how many trashy reissues I got to deal with in the past...referencing The Chronic (CD, Album, Reissue) 00602455099952
novembeer & c.stone634: Thanks very much for the warning guys, I was about to buy a copy of this as it was offered at a cheap price. Now I know why. It is so important nowadays to check before buying a remaster and it is so annoying.- Other than a few crackles this sounds great. I paid $20 and am really surprised at the quality. Mastered by Bernie Grundman, you can’t go wrong.

It is so much better to have this on one LP than 2 and having to flip it 3 times. Great pressing too. Worth the extra money so you don't have to get up after 2-3 songs to flip the vinyl.
