          Very quiet pressing. i have to turn up my monitors pretty high to have it at the level that i want. other than that the sound is pretty good. not a lot of surface noise at all. mixing sounds good

            MY copy sounds good to me after a wet clean. Balanced sound with nice bass, especially on Disco Inferno and Just A Lil Bit, among others. Glad they decided to put it in a gatefold, too.

              I have a love/hate relationship with this album. The best joints like “In My Hood”, “Ski Mask Way” and “Position of Power” are insanely dope, worthy of infinite replays (Rest In Peace Disco D). Unfortunately there’s also a bunch of tracks aiming at an audience that I can’t relate to. Fifty’s powerful debut is definitely a much better, more even album. But the already mentioned highlights on here makes me willing to forgive just about anything.

                      Listen: #2

                      This is the definition of a track-album. There are some great cuts off this album (Piggy Bank, Gatman and Robbin, Candy Shop, Ryder Music, Disco Inferno) but then the rest of it all blends in so that if you just listen to the album the whole way through everything blends in and it feels generic and boring. It all blends in and keeps you wondering when it's going to be over because nothing stands at the last third of the album. It's one of the examples of if it were shortened and made into an EP with just the good songs it would have been hella good. It's just an example of waaaay too much filler to make sure that it almost hits the 80 minute mark. I would have much rather had a 50 minute album with just the better songs off the album.
