Surely this is a bootleg? Very obvious typo and mo wax were defunct by 2008.

This particular version is quite abstract and very deep, providing the listener with an experience which will last a long time way beyond specific trends. Very under-rated, and a bargain today.

I had the Mo Wax 10" & 12"s of this, & never managed to find a Planet-E copy in good cons after it sold through in the shops. Thanks to Discogs© 😉 I just grabbed a copy, & didn't realise it was cut @ MPC Chicago on 180g wax. Sounds ridiculously good. Perhaps the best way to hear this seminal record, although with a production like that, they all sound good... Detroit future Jazz; from the past, still out there in the future...

I love the jazz mix so much. I'm transported back to 1996. Me and Carnage in my kitchen listening to it on Gilles, glued to the spot.

There is a legend that drum'n bass - named by LTJ Bukem - was created when Uk DJs, Mixmaster Morris, Gilles Peterson, and so on, played this Innerzone Orchestra track on 45. Peshay mix and 4 Hero mix make us feel a new era of drum'n base is dawning, and the tech-jazz flavors of Carl Craig's own street mix and As One's future/past mix are really the strong points of the EP.

Excellent release, very original, almost genreless still cutting edge five years on. The Peshay & Street mixes are worth the most attention, aids to modern living.
