Accept – Humanoid

The strongest Accept record in years and probably the best of the Tornillo period!

Here's one audiophile friend's opinion of this vinyl pressing:
"There [is] good news and bad news regarding this release. The good news is that this is a very dynamic mix, with all tracks being at least DR14! In addition to the usual great Andy Sneap production, we thus also get fantastic drum sound. I love this new trend of mixing the drums with less compression, as seen in the latest Green Day and Judas Priest albums.

The bad news is that the move to Nalpalm Records is a bad one for the vinyl pressings: while all previous Accept albums at Nuclear Blast have been 2 records, and the shorter The Rise of Chaos being even 45 RPM, we now have a single record for 48 min of music! And that’s not all the bad news: while the Nuclear Blast pressings always had ALL the tracks available in EU, including the Bonus Track of the Limited Edition CD, because of the move to a single record, this time the Bonus Track has been dropped! And to add insult to the injury, the record has been cut at a very low level, no doubt to accommodate the 48 min of music with IGD, and, if I am to consider my copy as representative, with a pressing quality on par with the average GZ Media pressing quality… Extremely disappointing, especially since the pressing quality of the Nuclear Blast records was always excellent or even stellar."
