Another great MOV pressing, super quiet, great dynamics, Susan's voice is clear and sounds great up front, Derek's slide guitar sounds amazing, listen carefully and you can hear the slide on the strings, so natural it's like they are in the same room. Tedeschi Trucks are amazing.

Like all Tedeschi Trucks Band Vinyl releases “Revelator” is a wonderful sounding pressing. Mixing and Mastering is top notch. My pressing had a few pops, even after a good cleaning.

I can’t say enough good things about this record. The pressing is very good but it’s really the content that is so stellar here. I would rate it as one of the best albums I own, from front to back this one really is steeped in the sounds of legends, not just by mere influence but through blood and lineage. I particularly describe this as a Sunday morning masterpiece, as in throw this on at the beginning of a day you have off to enjoy doing as you will and let the soulful and bluesy vibes and tones carry you up like a magic carpet. A serious good day starter and wonderful addition to any collection of great music.

It is an enjoyable album and of course Derek is fantastic if not reserved in his playing. Ive always felt he needs another guitarist to bounce off of. And Susan is a fine singer. But really I dont see anything special about the album or her vocals. Ive heard just as good a singer in bar bands through the years. But it is probably really cool to be married and play in a band together.

So that is probably why 1500 or whatever of the yellow vinyl isnt sold out. Its just kind of an ok blues, gospel, rhythm and blues album.

How the hell are any of the limited run of 1500 of these still available? It's still available new at Acoustic Sounds. I think it's because this record is 10 years old and I've just heard it for the first time. Why? Because it's considered Blues? Why haven't I been exposed to this on stations that would play Bonnie Rait? What an absolute crime against humanity. This record just shot to my top five of all-time. It's that god damn good. SiriusXM Spectrum should be ashamed of themselves for not playing this. Wow.

So far I’ve only listened to Bound for Glory, and it sounded incredible. Great music if your into the blues rock / slide guitar. Record is flat with a quiet background, no issues so far.

Everything about this record is beautiful! The yellow vinyl looks like a lemon pie. The sound is very good to my ears. Although, I am new at this. The music is a powerful mix of inspirational blues, and soul-crushing ballads and down-home funk. Derek Trucks builds solos that soar!
