Bon Jovi – Forever

Very nice album and pressing. Songs are catchy, real Bon Jovi sound. I would give 4+ rating.

This is a surprisingly quiet pressing for a splatter. Of course it has some surface noise but it isn’t very noticeable. However, I believe the mastering could have been better, as it sounds quite muffled in some sections, and I also noticed some sibilance during the high parts.

Love the candy apple colour. Pressing is solid enough while suffering from a fair amount of compression and lacks low end, so will require a notch or two up on the volume dial to get any meat and veg out of it, but still an enjoyable listen and a vast improvement to the preachy 2020 offering. Content acknowledges JB’s stellar back catalogue, love the voice box Living proof. Stand out tracks for me are Hollowman and I love my first guitar. And Waves is good as any rock ballad that has been realeased by anybody in the last ten years.

Currently on my second copy as the first one had some pretty noticeable scratches and bubbles that caused pops. The scratches are likely due to the paper inner sleeve that just latches onto the record like a vacuum. Really wish artists would use higher quality inners. Happy with how the record sounds so far, will update if I come across any issues.

Is anyone else having trouble finding a copy in their local Wal-Mart? We have 6 Wal-Mart stores around my city and I found just one copy the morning it was released and I haven't seen another since that day. Just seeing if others were having trouble finding one.

This was my first modern cassette I have purchased. And I have to say I am very disappointed by the sound. Even for this format it is so muffled and lacks dynamics. All my 1990's and early 2000's cassettes sound much better than this one. Don't recommand (unless you want to keep original cover and could re-record the music on your deck by yourself).

My copy has also a bluray, Should we need to do another entry of this release?

Did anyone receive a signed insert from these that *wasn't* an autopen?
