What a classic debut album. Sounds amazing on wax. The gold vinyl is the cherry on top. This album will never get old. I still remember seeing the STRESS video when YouTube was just starting out. Love listening to this album on my record player

I’m not sure if the release year for this listing is correct. Perhaps I’m mistaken, but the MPO numbers first 2 digits indicate the pressing year. This release states that it’s a 2024 release but the MPO stamps in the runouts start with 23 which means this should be a 2023 release and not 2024.

The MPO number indicated on my release starts with a 23 as well but the remaining numbers don’t match this release. The hand etchings match perfectly however. I got this in Canada, so this US release seems the closest to what I have.

All in all, there are visible scuffs on both sides of both discs. However, it does not affect playback to my ears. This is really well mastered. Dynamic and full. A must have for French house lovers. Great packaging as well.

What does the release mean by "Gold Nugget"? words n words

Has tons of bass and dynamics which is good for a record like this, hits even harder than the digital version :D

This sounds amazing, especially for a 16-bit release (Qobuz). The clarity, dynamics and mix are perfect. There's no ear daggers or boomy bass to contend with. There's some very strong bass lines, but they are well defined and not bloated. Excellent!

This works great on vinyl. Justice is a sonic experience and it's great to have these bangers on vinyl. That being said, side 3 is terrible! Unlike Daft Punk, these Frenchmen don't have a knack for vocals, so consequently I doubt I ever spin side three again.

For me the pressing is simply incredible. Rich middle and high and punchy bass. Gives analog a whole new perspective. Volume is also menacing.

Incredibly engaging and beefy bass sound. The tunes really leap out of my setup. No complaints at all about the disks or presentation here.
