Took some cleaning and even so its still a little noisier than the clear vinyl copy ive got but the excellent mastering remains. Its such a good record and its been remastered properly.... clean and distortion free. Even on my humble olde Pioneer/AT VM95ML setup it sounds lovely and this carts tonal balance is ruthless at exposing badly done dry and flat remasters, which this certainly isnt!!!
I'm surprised once again that no one noticed that both the force it and the no heavy petting reissue have strong distortion on both sides from the middle of the LP. Especially heard on the guitars. I can rule out errors in my setup.- Bloody marvellous sums it up. Sounds amazing, nicely packaged and the live record is terrific

I have a copy with the "Chrysalis – 202 695-320" label and the Matrix "202695 B-1/80S Made In Germany" but with the bass clef on side B. Is this a differnt version?

Real deal. My black vinyl is dead quiet and flat. Perfect.
Think the mastering job is quite good, and possibly not easy to get it to sound any better.
This one and the 2019 remaster of Phenomenon is the ones to get. (Haven´t got the Heavy Petting remaster because of the bad reviews.)
Now I´m waiting for Lights Out and Obsession!!! 
Yet another copy of Force It enters my collection. My copy is super clean with no surface noise. I agree with rperkins65 in that it sounds a little compressed, but the original pressing did as well so no biggie. Love the two live sides and the packaging and liner notes are excellent.
Just grabbed the clear vinyl version. I am not hearing any surface noise. My copy sounds clean and clear. There is a very faint warp to album 1, but it is very faint and does not affect playability.

This record sounds amazing in my stereo!! Beside the sound quality, the songs are very well recorded and so punchy!! This is one of the best Japanese pressings I have already see! If you find one, grab it!!
