Notes
Symphonic pieces based on a 1938 Slovenian novel by Vladimir Bartol.
The album was recorded by Laibach and the musicians who performed Alamut live at a former Crusader castle in Ljubljana in 2022. The musicians involved include the RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra, the Human-Voice Ensemble vocal group from Tehran, the Gallina Women’s Choir, and AccordiOna, a women’s accordion orchestra backed by additional accordion players, conducted by Iranian conductor Navid Goharib.

I have no idea how did it happened but Russian online store Ozon and one offline store in Moscow have Alamut vinyl in stock. Today March 31, 2025 and I had bought one and have my copy already delivered to me.Well before official release date which is May 9th.

According to a Finnish record shop website, Alamut will be released on 28th March 2025 on Mute Records. Both CD and vinyl are listed. No announcement from Mute Records yet...so not sure if this is official news. However, it sounds like this project was too good to be completely shelved and never to be officially released?- Edited 4 months ago

I think this is an official release but unfortunately something went wrong with promotion and has been cancelled. The booklet inside is really professionaly made and whole package - When you holding it you feel that is not cheap made. My guess is it was cancelled perhaps due the cooperation with iranian artists (sanctions)?
