referencing Virginia Woolf (CD, Album, Reissue) GF-160
In The Big Lebowski, at Crane Jackson's Fountain Street Theatre, The Dude's Landlord, Allan, performs a modern dance piece called the Dance Moderne. That's what the rather heavy handed bonus tracks remind me of : ambitious but a bit over the top. Yet this is a great album, halfway between The Left Banke going prog (tracks 1, 3, 4, 8) and prog going sci fi but ending up naff (tracks 2, 6, 9 and 10). Similarly track 5 is on the right side of ambitious while 7 is perhaps a bit too much utopian vaudeville. Do try this out if you like baroque pop and Love, though, and if you're from Wisconsin :-)
