The comedy team produced a number of albums and their huge hit, "Ajax Liquor Store" is on this one...Plus the top 40's DJ bit is a killer ...anyone who was in radio will laugh until they cry hearing all the colloquial phrases used by the boys...They cut this at a golf course in Pomona and it sounds like a bunch of their drunken buds were whopping it up that night...What makes this sleeve so much fun are the liner notes by top DJ Bill Ballance...Old "Bill Boy" also did an air shirt at KGBS Radio in LA at the time that Hudson and Landry held down the morning drive gig...Bill's witty writing is worth the price of admission...Never heard them before? Stop that right now and grab this LP...Top American humor right here...referencing Hanging In There (LP, Album) LP-324
This is the corniest comedy album ever, therefore it is campy. That's a good thing. You will get laughs from hearing how dated the jokes are rather than from the material.
